wavin’ at the spring tides

Such a delicate, exquisite northern light, these last few weeks since the equinox and I can’t possibly do it justice in words. I’ll leave those to my neighbour, the wonderful writer and blogger Annie O’Garra Worsley at Red River Croft,  just down the road from us here, who is so much more eloquent at describing these wonders than I.

These images are my visual take of the experience which greets us at the beach each afternoon, when I wander down with my Chesapeake Bay Retriever Holly, for our daily, invigorating injection of salt and sea air, heading straight into these waves with a ball, in my wellies (that’s me, literally). Maybe no further words are needed. From me, at any rate!
