This past weekend, while marveling at how the sand is slowly, but surely, being brought back to the shore by the wind and sea, I looked more closely. I couldn’t help but see that the subtle, often overlooked lines drawn in the sand by the wind and water are no less beautiful or dramatic, for their smaller scale.
